BG & FG PET Chips prices decline in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1400/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1415/ton.
 
PTA prices went up in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices inched up and were offered at US$ 990/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 970/ton to US$ 975/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices rose and were offered in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept unaltered in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept inert and were quoted at US$ 1465/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices decreased and were assessed in the range of 63.50 cents/pound to 64.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept stable in the European international market at US$ 1330/ton, and declined in domestic market to € 1015/ton.
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices increased and were offered at US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices moved up and were assessed in the range of RMB 7450/ton to RMB 7500/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained stable in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1415/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1385/ton to US$ 1425/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained steady in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1435/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9400/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices kept stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1235/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1285/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9100/ton to RMB 9150/ton.
 
PSF prices decreased in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices dipped to US$ 1420/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices declined to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 9800/ton to RMB 9850/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices increased and were quoted at RMB 9950/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10200/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY surged to US$ 1355/ton, US$ 1550/ton and US$ 1380/ton, respectively.
