PBteen, a member of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio of brands, announced the opening of its PBteen store at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, AZ. PBteen and Pottery Barn Kids will open a combined location on Friday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m. This will be the 18th PBteen location in the United States.

The PBteen store will open with its fall 2014 collection, including items from the brand’s second collaboration with designers and fashion stylists Emily Current and Meritt Elliott. This exclusive collection reflects Emily & Meritt’s classic Americana design sensibility through vintage-inspired, yet modern, home furnishings and accessories. The collection blends feminine and whimsical details with a touch of rock and roll to create a one-of-a-kind collection of furniture, bedding, lighting, wall décor and decorative accessories.

Just in time to get a jump start on back-to-school shopping, both the PBteen and Pottery Barn Kids stores will showcase a colorful assortment of gear, including backpacks, lunch totes and accessories. The new 2014 PBdorm collection will also be highlighted in-store, featuring a variety of XL twin sheets, task lighting, storage solutions, decorative accessories and more to create the ultimate home away from home. It’s all designed to help teens create a room that reflects their personal style.

The PBteen store will be anchored around PBteen Design Lab, where teens and their parents can engage with the brand and its products by digitally creating a personalized room. Using drag and drop technology, teens can experiment with different room configurations and color combinations to quickly see their designs come to life on a television screen overhead.

When teens and their parents visit the new PBteen store, they can expect a customizable shopping experience with on-site design specialists available to help teens choose their favorite patterns and styles to create their own distinct bedrooms and lounge spaces. Products available at PBteen.com can be ordered through the store and shipped directly to the customer for ease of shopping.

“We’re excited to open our first PBteen store in Arizona at Kierland Commons,” said Sandra Stangl, President, Pottery Barn Brands. “As PBteen continues to grow, we’re thrilled to open more retail stores to give customers the opportunity to experience the brand in a different way. This combined location with Pottery Barn Kids brings two of our brands under one roof to make shopping across our brands easier and give parents a one-stop resource for all their back-to-school needs.”

Pottery Barn Kids will feature an expanded Design Studio, a resource for parents and parents-to-be looking for advice and inspiration to create their dream nursery, kid’s bedroom, play and study spaces.
