Ethylene, MEG & PSF prices increase in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices decreased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1415/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices plunged and were assessed at US$ 1390/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market dropped and were quoted in the range of US$ 1425/ton to US$ 1430/ton.
 
PTA prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1000/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market stayed steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
Ethylene prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices increased and were assessed at US$ 1520/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of 64.50 cents/pound to 65.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept unaltered in the European international market at US$ 1330/ton, and surged in the domestic market to € 1030/ton.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained stable in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices maintained steady trend and were quoted in the range of RMB 9200/ton to RMB 9250/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices surged to US$ 1435/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices increased to US$ 1335/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 9850/ton to RMB 9900/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices kept unchanged and were offered at RMB 9950/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10300/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained steady at US$ 1355/ton, US$ 1550/ton and US$ 1395/ton, respectively.
