Mitsui Chemicals restarts MEG plant post turnaround

Japan-based Mitsui Chemicals has restarted a monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant post maintenance turnaround.
“The MEG plant was shut for maintenance on 19 June 2014 and was restarted last week,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
The MEG plant is located in Osaka, and has a 50,000 tons/year production capacity.
