PSF prices fall in Southeast and Far East Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices went dropped and were assessed at US$ 1390/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton.
 
PTA prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices stayed stable and were quoted at US$ 1010/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 7450/ton to RMB 7500/ton.
 
Ethylene prices stayed steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were offered at US$ 1520/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were offered in the range of 65.50 cents/pound to 66.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were assessed at US$ 1330/ton and € 1030/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices kept unaltered in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept steady in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed steady in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices kept stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices maintained steady trend and were quoted in the range of RMB 9200/ton to RMB 9250/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices fell to US$ 1420/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices declined to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were unchanged in the range of RMB 9850/ton to RMB 9900/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices kept inert and were offered at RMB 9900/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10250/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained steady at US$ 1350/ton, US$ 1550/ton and US$ 1385/ton, respectively.
