The United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) will host a webinar on Wednesday, August 13th at 2:00PM EST entitled “Supply Chain Collaboration: Integrating Supplier Certifications and Technology” featuring speakers from OEKO-TEX and ecVision.

The webinar will detail a new service provided through ecVision’s cloud- based collaborative platform, ecVision Suite involving the integration of OEKO-TEX’s global textile certifications into the data available to the apparel retailers, wholesalers, and brands using ecVision’s services.

Today’s apparel market is characterized by complex global supply chains, growing governmental regulations, increasing consumer demands for documented socially and environmentally responsible products, and shorter production lead times.

Access to up-to-date, accurate information about suppliers and products helps manufacturers, wholesalers, brands, and retailers produce and market successful, compliant apparel lines. Cloud-based technology like ecVision’s and global product and facility certifications like the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and STeP by OEKO-TEX are a powerful combination for increasing communication and collaboration between apparel companies and their many suppliers around the world.
