Ethylene prices inch down in European markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices inched up and were offered in the range of US$ 1377/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices moved up and were quoted at US$ 1360/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton.
 
PTA prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices stayed stable and were offered at US$ 1000/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable in the range of RMB 7450/ton to RMB 7500/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept unaltered and were quoted in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1520/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were offered in the range of 69.50 cents/pound to 70.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices declined in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were offered at US$ 1305/ton and € 1005/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were quoted at US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices fell and were spotted in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained steady in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices kept steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept inert and were offered in the range of RMB 9100/ton to RMB 9150/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region.  In the F E Asian market, PSF prices kept inert at US$ 1420/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices remained stable at US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept steady and were offered in the range of RMB 9700/ton to RMB 9750/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY declined to RMB 9750/ton, RMB 11350/ton and RMB 10175/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY declined to US$ 1335/ton, US$ 1555/ton and US$ 1350/ton, respectively.
