Paraxylene prices decline in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices plunged and were quoted at US$ 1400/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton.
 
PTA prices kept unchanged in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices kept stable and were offered at US$ 1015/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices kept inert and were offered in the range of RMB 7475/ton to RMB 7525/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1485/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were assessed at US$ 1510/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept unaltered and were assessed in the range of 66.00 cents/pound to 66.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1305/ton and € 1005/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 1010/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were stable in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices kept inert and were offered in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 9200/ton to RMB 9250/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region.  In the F E Asian market, PSF prices kept stable at US$ 1420/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices remained stable at US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept inert and were offered in the rangeof RMB 9700/ton to RMB 9750/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY increased to RMB 9850/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10250/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY surged to US$ 1350/ton, US$ 1565/ton and US$ 1400/ton, respectively.
