PSF prices increase in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices dropped and were quoted at US$ 1335/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1380/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were quoted at US$ 1000/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA price decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 7300/ton to RMB 7350/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1485/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1490/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of 65.00 cents/pound to 65.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices declined in the European international market to US$ 1280/ton, and kept unchanged in domestic market at € 1005/ton.
 
MEG prices fell in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices declined and were quoted at US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept stable in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1345/ton to US$ 1385/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1395/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were stable in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9150/ton to RMB 9200/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 9150/ton to RMB 9200/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices surged to US$ 1435/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices increased to US$ 1335/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 9800/ton to RMB 9850/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY kept inert at RMB 9850/ton and RMB 11400/ton, whereas FDY prices increased to RMB 10400/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and DTY kept inert at US$ 1350/ton and US$ 1565/ton, while FDY prices increased to US$ 1420/ton.
