MUNICH FABRIC START will open the Autumn/Winter 15/16 season for fabrics and findings from September 2-4, 2014, at Munich Order Center MOC & Zenith Hall Lilienthalallee, in Germany. About 950 international exhibitors and 20,000 international trade visitors, which include buyers, designers and product managers from famous labels, are expected to participate in the textile fair.

MUNICH FABRIC START will showcase wide range of fabrics, ranging from exclusive premium basics to latest trends in womenswear and menswear.

The Autumn/Winter 15/16 trends will be presented in the exclusively arranged Trend and Sample Areas, and in the Color Forum in the exhibition hall. MUNICH FABRIC START aims to identify the essences from approximately 10,000 fabric submissions for this collection of information.

The MUNICH FABRIC START areas include Collections, Additionals, Asia Salon, The Design Studios, and Eco Village. Under Collections, around 600 international suppliers of woven and knit fabrics of wool, cotton, silk, silk-like, and functional materials would display latest developments in two trade fair halls.

Additionals would see about 180 of the world’s leading suppliers of findings and accessories for the clothing industry displaying their products. In the Asia Salon, about 100 top companies would present developments from China and Korea.

The Design Studios will offer individual design solutions and progressive ideas from around the globe – in prints, patterns, and designs. This area has been set up as an innovative platform, and is continuously developing with the help of represented studios and design agencies.

Eco Village would host experts and scientists from international organizations with services and information about sustainability of products.

MUNICH FABRIC START will also have a show with a selection of 500 trendy, certified, and sustainably produced fabrics, enhanced by about 100 certified accessories, along with organicselection, a forum which works in collaboration with Eco Village.

The Bluezone would host creations in the denim and sportswear sectors on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2014 in the neighboring Zenith Halle. Among the roughly 75 international weaving mills, finishers and laundries, there are several new participants, such as the US Group, Denimco, Sartex, and others. The Bluezone will carry the slogan “RACE and ZEN” to create a composition of two different ideas that will serve as a platform for the presentation of the stylish and trendy range of denims and flats for the Autumn/Winter 15/16 season.
