Mute sentiment this week keeps Asian ethylene price steady

Asian ethylene prices remained steady during this week from mute buying sentiments coupled with unfavorable market fundamentals.
In Korea, prices were stable at US$ 1490/ton in this week ending Sept 5 as compared to the previous week ending Aug 29.
In Japan, ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1460/ton this week, flat from the previous week.
Despite tight product availability in the region, S E Asia prices depicted similar trend and were quoted at US$ 1495/ton, zero change from last week.
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 1495/ton, same as in the previous week.
However, in N E Asia prices went down marginally to US$ 1530/ton as compared to US$ 1525-1535/ton in its previous week.
