Gandy Digital, a Canada-based developer of digital printers for textile industry, has launched a digital Softjet, signage, high resolution, dye sublimation printer for profit-driving textile applications.

The digital Softjet printer, to be unveiled for the first time at the SGIA Expo, at Las Vegas, US, is designed for textile printers and large format print houses working towards increasing print quality and productivity, exploring new revenue streams, and driving profitable growth.

The all-in-one, digital Softjet printer enables cost-effective, short to long run, full color jobs, with market leading print quality and Gandy Digital’s international 24/7 customer service.

Providing printing and cutting capabilities in a total solution package, the new digital Softjet printer is an ideal platform for new print suppliers to enter the soft signage market, or existing suppliers to upgrade their service capability. As a roll-to-roll, direct to fabric printer, the digital Softjet printer would be ideal for applications including indoor and outdoor soft signage, wall graphics, wall coverings, flags, and tradeshow displays.

Utilizing dye sublimation technology to provide color vibrancy, the digital Softjet printer also delivers consistent and superior sublimation control across the entire print width.

The textile-based graphics by the digital Softjet printer provides customers an important alternative to traditional board or vinyl based applications, with a warmer look and feel and improved noise reduction benefits.

The digital Softjet printer is designed for heavy duty textile printing, built according to the company’s usual high quality standards for operational reliability, says report. With the help of water-based inks and low energy consumption, digital Softjet printer is environmental-friendly.

With the digital Softjet printer, being built around a flexible and adaptable printer platform, users can adapt to ever-changing customer requirements.

As one of the market leaders in producing high performance, wide-format digital printers, Gandy Digital manufactures grand format printers and customers, around the world, have come to rely on the company’s vision, reliability, and cutting-edge technology. (GK)
