Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices decline in China

Paraxylene (PX) prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1175/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market moved down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton.
 
PTA prices remained stable in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 910/ton to US$ 915/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 890/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 885/ton to US$ 890/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of RMB 6495/ton to RMB 6545/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1500ton to US$ 1505/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept unaltered and were quoted at US$ 1490/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of 66.00 cents/pound to 66.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept inert in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1120/ton and € 910/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 900/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 6335/ton to RMB 6385/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept stable in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1290/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of RMB 8575/ton to RMB 8625/ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips kept stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1090/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1140/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 8125/ton to RMB 8175/ton.
 
PSF prices dropped in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices fell to US$ 1285/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices plunged to US$ 1185/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices decreased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8800/ton to RMB 8825/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY declined to RMB 9100/ton, RMB 11150/ton and RMB 9350/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY dropped to US$ 1245/ton, US$ 1535/ton and US$ 1265/ton, respectively.
