PX & FG PET Chips' prices decline in Korean market

Paraxylene (PX) prices decreased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1165/ton to US$ 1170/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices decreased and were quoted at US$ 1150/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices inched down and were quoted in the range of US$ 880/ton to US$ 885/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices plunged and were offered at US$ 860/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 885/ton to US$ 890/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices dropped and were assessed in the range of RMB 6165/ton to RMB 6215/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1500ton to US$ 1505/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1490/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices moved up and were quoted in the range of 68.50 cents/pound to 69.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices went up in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1175/ton and € 960/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in the Asian region. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices fell and were quoted at US$ 855/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices witnessed a sharp fall and were assessed in the range of US$ 845/ton to US$ 850/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices dipped and were offered in the range of RMB 6130/ton to RMB 6180/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips plunged in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1280/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices dropped and were assessed in the range of RMB 8450/ton to RMB 8500/ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1090/ton to US$ 1130/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 8050/ton to RMB 8100/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices decreased to US$ 1280/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices plunged to US$ 1180/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices decreased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8775/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY fell to RMB 9000/ton, RMB 11050/ton and RMB 9250/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY dropped to US$ 1230/ton, US$ 1520/ton and US$ 1250/ton, respectively.
