OTM 2014 sees visitors streaming from across Turkey

OTM 2014 – the Middle East textile machinery exhibition which ran from October 16-19 at the Gaziantep Middle East Exhibition Center in Gaziantep, witnessed visitors coming from all over Turkey.

Visitors streamed in from other Turkish textile hubs like Kahramanmaras, Bursa, Denizli, Turkey, Adiyaman, Kilis, Istanbul, Sanliurfa, Malatya and Osmaniye.

OTM 2014 brought together the world’s leading textile technology products to Anatolia and its surrounding provinces.

OTM was hosted in two indoor halls spread over around 28,000 sq. meters exhibition space and hosted over 500 exhibitors from 20 countries.

The fair displayed technologies across the whole textile value chain beginning from spinning, weaving, carpet tufting, knitting, dyes and chemicals, fabric finishing to laboratory equipment.

Organisers of OTM 2014 say the fair proved to be a very important meeting pointing in the region, where investments have increased especially in recent years.

OTM 2014 was organized by the cooperation of Tüyap and Teknik Fuarcilik and support of TEMSAD and collaboration of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and other trade bodies. (AR)
