Ethylene & MEG prices decline in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices went up and were quoted at US$ 1035/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton.
 
PTA prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 775/ton to US$ 780/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices kept steady and were offered at US$ 755/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 750/ton to US$ 755/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down and were offered in the range of RMB 5675/ton to RMB 5725/ton.
 
Ethylene prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1375ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted at US$ 1395/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of 66.50 cents/pound to 67.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept inert in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1180/ton and € 1000/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices plunged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices went down and were quoted at US$ 810/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of US$ 805/ton to US$ 810/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up in the range of RMB 5930/ton to RMB 5980/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept stable in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1210/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept stable in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1240/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of RMB 7925/ton to RMB 7975/ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips kept stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1040/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices kept inert and were offered in the range of RMB 7450/ton to RMB 7500/ton.
 
PSF prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices kept steady at US$ 1215/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices kept inert at US$ 1115/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8325/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY kept stable at RMB 8550/ton, RMB 10650/ton and RMB 8750/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY kept stable at US$ 1160/ton, US$ 1460/ton and US$ 1180/ton, respectively.
