PTA prices drop in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices inched up and were offered in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices increased and were quoted at US$ 1055/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market went up and were offered in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices moved up and were quoted in the range of US$ 815/ton to US$ 820/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices went up and were offered at US$ 795/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 750/ton to US$ 755/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 5645/ton to RMB 5695/ton.
 
Ethylene prices inched down in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1275ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices dropped and were quoted at US$ 1295/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of 66.50 cents/pound to 67.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed steady in the European international market and were quoted at US$ 1180/ton, while prices went down in the domestic market and were quoted at € 975/ton.
 
MEG prices went up in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices went up and were quoted at US$ 860/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 800/ton to US$ 805/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 6215/ton to RMB 6265/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips declined in the range of US$ 1130/ton to US$ 1170/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1140/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers plunged and were offered in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1190/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices climbed up and were assessed in the range of RMB 8050/ton to RMB 9000/ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips plunged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 7500/ton to RMB 7550/ton.
 
PSF prices kept stable in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices kept steady at US$ 1215/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices kept inert at US$ 1115/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8325/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and FDY went up to RMB 8750/ton and RMB 8800/ton, respectively, while DTY prices remained stable at RMB 10650/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY increased and were quoted at US$ 1195/ton and US$ 1185/ton, respectively, while DTY prices kept unchanged at US$ 1460/ton.
