BG & FG PET Chips' prices decline in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. PX prices decreased in SE Asia, ranging between US$ 1030 and 1035 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PX prices plunged to US$ 1010 per ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market decreased to a range of US$ 1045 to 1050 per ton.
 
PTA prices remained unaffected in Asia. SE Asian market witnessed stable trend in PTA prices which ranged between US$ 780 and 785 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PTA prices were stable at US$ 765 per ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market went down to a range of US$ 765 to 765 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased to a range of RMB 5685 to 5735 per ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unaffected in Asian markets. In the SE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable ranging between US$ 1210 and 1215 per ton. In the FE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable at US$ 1130 per ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices went down ranging between 52.00 and 52.50 cents per pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international as well as in domestic markets at US$ 1210 per ton and € 1025 per ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices plunged in Asia. In SE Asia, MEG prices decreased to US$ 890 per ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices decreased ranging between US$ 885 and 890 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased to a range of RMB 6620 to 6670 per ton.
 
In SE Asia, prices of BG PET Chips declined ranging between US$ 1145 and 1185 per ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1155 to 1195 per ton. In the FE Asian market, selling offers plunged to the range of US$ 1165 to 1205 per ton, while talked prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1175 to 1215 per ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices went down ranging between RMB 8000 to 8050 per ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips declined between US$ 1020 and 1060 per ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1030 to 1070 per ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices went down ranging between RMB 7600 and 7650 per ton.
 
PSF prices remained unaffected in Asia. In the FE Asian market, PSF prices were stable at US$ 1220 per ton. In the SE Asian market, PSF selling prices were stable at US$ 1120 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable ranging between RMB 8350 and 8375 per ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY were stable at RMB 9100 per ton, RMB 10750 per ton and RMB 8900 per ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY were stable at US$ 1245 per ton, US$ 1470 per ton and US$ 1195 per ton, respectively.
