PTA, MEG & PSF prices down in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. PX prices went down in SE Asia, where they ranged between US$ 925 and 930 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PX prices went down to US$ 910 per ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market kept steady in a range of US$ 1015 to 1020 per ton.
 
PTA prices declined in Asia. SE Asian market witnessed a plunge in PTA prices which ranged between US$ 740 and 745 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PTA prices declined to US$ 720 per ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady in a range of US$ 750 to 755 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices decreased to a range of RMB 5340 to 5390 per ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the SE Asian market, Ethylene prices were steady ranging between US$ 1155 and 1160 per ton. In the FE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable at US$ 1075 per ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were steady ranging between 50.50 and 51.00 cents per pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international as well as in domestic markets at US$ 1115 per ton and € 920 per ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices plunged in Asia. In SE Asia, MEG prices declined to US$ 805 per ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained steady ranging between US$ 870 and 875 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased to a range of RMB 6085 to 6135 per ton.
 
In SE Asia, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady ranging between US$ 1130 and 1170 per ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1140 to 1180 per ton. In the FE Asian market, selling offers remained stable in the range of US$ 1150 to 1190 per ton, while talked prices hovered in the range of US$ 1160 to 1200 per ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices kept inert ranging between RMB 7950 to 8000 per ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips were steady in the range of US$ 1010 to 1050 per ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1020 to 1060 per ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices kept steady ranging between RMB 7450 and 7500 per ton.
 
PSF prices were unchanged in Asia. In the FE Asian market, PSF prices kept steady at US$ 1210 per ton. In the SE Asian market, PSF selling prices remained steady at US$ 1110 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined ranging between RMB 8175 and 8225 per ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY declined to RMB 8900 per ton, RMB 10650 per ton and RMB 8700 per ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY plunged to US$ 1210 per ton, US$ 1455 per ton and US$ 1165 per ton, respectively.
