BG & FG PET Chips' prices drop in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. PX prices decreased in SE Asia, where they ranged between US$ 915 and 920 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PX prices plunged to US$ 895 per ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market decreased to a range of US$ 945 to 950 per ton.
 
PTA prices plunged in Asia. SE Asian market witnessed a decrease in PTA prices, which ranged between US$ 730 and 735 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PTA prices went down to US$ 710 per ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined to a range of US$ 715 to 720 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down to a range of RMB 5220 to 5270 per ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unaffected in Asian markets. In the SE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable ranging between US$ 1125 and 1130 per ton. In the FE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable at US$ 1045 per ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices dropped and they ranged between 44.00 and 44.50 cents per pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international and domestic markets at US$ 1110 per ton and € 910 per ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices plunged in Asia. In SE Asia, MEG prices declined to US$ 825 per ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices decreased ranging between US$ 825 and 830 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased to a range of RMB 6045 to 6095 per ton.
 
In SE Asia, prices of BG PET Chips declined ranging between US$ 1115 and 1155 per ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1125 to 1165 per ton. In the FE Asian market, selling offers plunged in the range of US$ 1135 to 1175 per ton, while talked prices hovered in the range of US$ 1145 to 1185 per ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices declined ranging between RMB 7675 and 7725 per ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips declined in the range between US$ 1000 and 1040 per ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1010 to 1050 per ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices declined and they ranged between RMB 7150 and 7200 per ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asia. In the FE Asian market, PSF prices plunged to US$ 1165 per ton. In the SE Asian market, PSF selling prices dropped to US$ 1065 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices decreased ranging between RMB 8100 and 8125 per ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY declined to RMB 8350 per ton, RMB 10400 per ton and RMB 8350 per ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY declined to US$ 1115 per ton, US$ 1400 per ton and US$ 1100 per ton, respectively.
