Asian PTA drops due to ample availability last week

Asian PTA prices dropped in the last week ending Dec 6, due to ample of product availability in the region.

In FE Asia, average prices reduced by US$ 30/ton or 3.97 per cent and were assessed at US$ 725/ton last week, as compared to its previous week ending Nov 29.

In SE Asia, average prices too dipped by US$ 30/ton and were offered at US$ 750/ton last week, down 3.85 per cent as against its previous week.

In the Indian market also, average prices decreased by US$ 30/ton or 3.82 per cent from its previous week and were quoted at US$ 755/ton last week.

In China, average PTA prices slipped higher by US$ 40/ton and were spotted at US$ 725/ton last week from its previous week, a decline of 5.23 per cent.
