Asian ethylene prices drop on Tuesday

The prices of ethylene dropped on Tuesday, December 9, in Asian markets.
In Southeast Asia, ethylene prices declined by US$ 10/ton and were quoted at US$ 1120/ton on Tuesday, falling by 0.88 per cent compared to Monday’s prices.
In Northeast Asia, prices of ethylene declined by US$ 10/ton and were quoted at US$ 1080/ton on Tuesday, a decrease of 0.92 per cent compared to prices assessed on Monday.
The decline in ethylene prices was due to weak upstream product prices and poor downstream demand in the region.
