Asian PTA slips on Dec 24 from weak demand

Asian PTA prices slipped on Wednesday (Dec 24) due to poor downstream demand coupled with fall in upstream product prices in the region.
In FE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 625/ton, lower by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices on Tuesday (Dec 23).
In SE Asia, PTA prices were spotted at US$ 645/ton, again down by US$ 5/ton as against prices on Dec 23.
In India, prices were seen at US$ 650/ton, also lower by US$ 5/ton vis-à-vis prices on Tuesday.
In FE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 625/ton, lower by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices on Tuesday (Dec 23).
In SE Asia, PTA prices were spotted at US$ 645/ton, again down by US$ 5/ton as against prices on Dec 23.
In India, prices were seen at US$ 650/ton, also lower by US$ 5/ton vis-à-vis prices on Tuesday.
