Yogesh Gaikwad, business manager, ASEAN Region at SDC introduced SDC activities in India to the audience. He also gave glimpses of events done by the SDC EC in the recent past in India and explained benefits of being an SDC member.
The first technical lecture by Deepak Karade and Murlidhar Phatak, both from ATE Enterprises touched upon various new developments in machinery from spinning to dyeing, which according to them will help the cause of effective utilisation of natural resources.
Second technical presentation by Aishwarya Bhasin from MS Orange Technologies Pvt Ltd elaborated on the concept of digital printing, taking the audience closer to the new technology.
Later, Sumit Gupta, Hon. Secretary, Mumbai Chapter, SDC EC informed the participants on the programmes lined up for the upcoming 11th SDC International Conference, scheduled to be held on 20th February, 2015 in Mumbai. (AR)
