Asian propylene rises last week due to lift in buying

Propylene prices rose in Asia in the last week ending Feb 6 due to lift in buying interest in the region.

In Japan, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton or 1.29 per cent and were quoted at US$ 785/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices also mounted by US$ 15/ton and were assessed at US$ 790/ton last week, up 1.94 per cent as against its previous week.

In India too, average prices ascended by US$ 15/ton and were offered at US$ 790/ton last week from its previous week, an increase of 1.94 per cent.
