The recently ended FESPA Eurasia 2014 in Istanbul saw visitor numbers attending the fair surge by 27 per cent from the earlier edition to 8,707 unique visitors across the four days of the fair.

“Visitors cited exploring latest products and make final purchasing decisions about equipment, as the main reasons for visiting the fair,” FESPA said.

According to FESPA, these positive outcomes have led to numerous reservations for FESPA Eurasia 2015, taking place December10-13 in halls 2 and 4 at CNR Expo, Istanbul.

“After just a few weeks of releasing the floor plans, 57 per cent of space has already been allocated to national and international suppliers,” they said.

FESPA Group exhibition manager Michael Ryan said, “Based on our previous research on industry investment budgets, we have been careful to select dates for FESPA Eurasia which fit well with visitors.”

“We are committed to continue improving the show and deliver another successful regional industry event,” he added.

In addition to supporting the regional market through the exhibition, FESPA continues to re-invest in the community via its Profit for Purpose business model.

This is done by assigning surplus revenues from the trade show to fund local projects, as well as supporting exhibition partner ARED, the Turkish member association of FESPA.

ARED delivers a range of educational events, training programmes and relevant market information to printers and sign-makers across Turkey.

ARED President, Halil Eligur said, “We have received a lot of positive feedback following the second edition of FESPA Eurasia, and we are excited about the next edition.”

“At ARED, we have a clear understanding of the challenges businesses face and work to supply what they need to sustain growth, culminating with sharing ideas and exploring innovations,” he too added.

Optimum Digital Planet general manager Yavuz Selim Ezgü said, “With FESPA Eurasia, we are pleased to experience FESPA’s ability to bring both national and global audiences together in a successful show.

“We believe the valuable contribution of FESPA Eurasia to our company and the Turkish printing industry will continue to increase in 2015 and beyond,” he observed. (AR)
