His guidance has been instrumental to enhancing the customer experience at JC Penney.”

Thomas J Engibous, chairman of the board, said, “Kent has been an integral member of our board of directors for nearly 17 years, and his contributions to JC Penney are immeasurable. We wish him well in retirement and all future endeavors." (GK)
