Asian benzene slips from lower feedstock prices on Mar 30

Benzene prices slipped in Asia on Monday (March 30) mainly from lower prices of feedstock, upstream energy and downstream products along with sluggish downstream demand in the region.

In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 760/ton on Monday, lower by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.

In Japan too, prices were spotted at US$ 765/ton on March 30, down by US$ 10/ton as against prices seen towards end of previous week.

In India, prices were offered at US$ 770/ton on Monday, also lower by US$ 10/ton from prices witnessed at end of last week.
