Downstream price rise lifts Asian MEG last week

Rise in downstream product prices in the region led to MEG prices lifting in Asia in the last week ended April 10.

In SE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 30/ton or 3.51 per cent and were quoted at US$ 885/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In India, average prices ascended by US$ 30/ton and were offered at US$ 885/ton in the last week, up 3.51 per cent from its previous week.

In China, average prices rose by US$ 30/ton and were spotted at US$ 875/ton in the last week, an increase of 3.55 per cent as against its previous week.
