Asian PX prices up on May 11 from improved demand

PX prices went up in Asia on Monday (May 11) mainly from rise in upstream product prices and downstream product prices coupled with improved downstream demand in the region.

In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 980/ton on Monday, higher by US$ 20/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.

In SE Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 995/ton on May 11, also up by US$ 15/ton as against prices at end of the previous week.
