Mesdan exhibits in two separate halls at ShanghaiTex

Mesdan from Italy is participating at ShanghaiTex and is displaying its products at two booths in separate halls, which will show products from laboratory testing and yarn splicer divisions.

“In hall W4, booth K30, we are showcasing the Dyelab range GIOTTO, which is a universal automatic laboratory pilot dyeing machine,” Mesdan said in a press release.

Its main features include that when connected to SedoMaster and ColorMaster recipe system, it creates processes and plan batches online like for bulk machines.

It uses the same processes or recipes as in any production machine and has optimised transfer features from lab to production.

It also makes use of optimisations in ColorMaster colour management and recipe system and is fully automatic, from pre-treatment to washing off and works on a load unload principle.

The system dyes yarns and fabrics made of any dyeable fibres and their blends and all parameters are fully programmable, including auto-dosing.

It has a liquor ratio from 1:5 up to 1:20, which however is dependent on GSM of fabric to be dyed and a continuous programmable reduction clearance is also possible, which allows for continuous dyeing of PES Blends.

It has an excellent repeatability within one bath and reproducibility between baths and is made in Italy out of best quality stainless steel.

In hall E1, booth C50, Mesdan is highlighting the MT Eveness tester for measuring evenness of spun yarn, sliver, roving and yarn hairiness, which is a fully automatic yarn strength tester.

It will also display the Moistair 6901 automatic splicer which is designed for Savio winders and is unique for its flexibility and result efficiency especially on some difficult yarns such as Tencel, Dual Core, synthetic blends, etc.

Mesdan also added that the Moistair 6901R is also available for retrofitting of old splicers on both Orion and Polar winders. (AR)
