More than 850 exhibitors have signed up for the next Texworld Paris trade show, which runs from September 14-17, 2015 at Paris Le Bourget in France.

“Texworld Paris will display a global range of fashion products from countries like China, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Taïwan, Thailand, Turkey and Pakistan,” a Messe Frankfurt press release said.

“The September event is a very important time for the exhibitors, because brands generally view two collections there at once, for winter and initial trends for the summer,” it added.

“This explains the exceptional level of reservations, as all the exhibitors want to be certain of being able to show their new creations to customers,” Messe Frankfurt noted.

Always setting trends and at the cutting edge, the exhibitors have surprised the selection committee with the quality and singularity of their collections.

The sought-after work by textile designers in surprising textures, and ideas from stylists has pushed to the limit in some ways, the motifs and ranges of colour to be on display.

Michael Scherpe, CEO of Messe Frankfurt France said, “Our efforts to feed all fashion’s creative influences into Texworld are inspiring exhibitors.”

“In other respects, the quality of their collections are winning favour with designers, many of whom are developing fabrics, motifs and embroidery with our exhibitors,” he observed.

Numerous exhibitors are combining creativity with cutting-edge technology due to the latest generation of machinery developed by manufacturers such as Rieter, which is also exhibiting at Texworld Paris.

Silk is one of the most popular fabrics at Texworld, after cotton and more than 40 silk manufacturers are expected at this event, including 13 weavers from Huzhou in the province of Zhejiang, China.

Companies such as Huzhou Runyuan Silk, Huzhou Silkpride Textile, Huzhou Worldbest Tianchang Imp&Exp, Huzhou Yongchang Silk and Huzhou Dongli Silk are long-standing exhibitors.

“The silk fabrics offered by these exhibitors are particularly prized for haute couture, evening wear and bridalwear collections,” the Texworld Paris organiser also observed.

At each fair, the Lenzing Pavilion highlights the innovative features of selected weavers, which number 14 this time, up from 12 in September 2014.

With 10 exhibitors, South Korea is displaying excellent cellulose material engineering skills and incudes companies like CF Corporation, Duckwoo Corporation, Great Duksan Corporation, JK Tex, R&D Textile, etc. (AR)
