Asian benzene up on July 1 from higher upstream prices

Benzene prices went up in Asia on Wednesday (July 1) from higher upstream energy prices and increase in benzene prices in the US.

In Korea, prices were spotted at US$ 795/ton, higher by US$ 15/ton or 1.92 per cent as compared to prices on Tuesday (June 30).

In Japan, prices were assessed at US$ 800/ton, up by US$ 15/ton or 1.91 per cent as against prices on June 30.

In India, prices were witnessed at US$ 805/ton, also higher by US$ 15/ton or 1.90 per cent from prices on Tuesday.
