IndianRoots.com ties up with Banka Silk

IndianRoots.com, an online marketplace for Indian fashion, has announced its partnership with Banka Silk, a handloom brand from Bihar that is working towards the uplift of artisans of Banka district .

In a statement, IndianRoots said that with its wide reach among Indian and NRI patrons, it will now serve as an online platform for Banka Silk to showcase their innovative range to a worldwide audience.

Rahul Narvekar, CEO, IndianRoots.com says, “IndianRoots is known not only for promoting Indian fashion but for highlighting the handicrafts and artisans who have lost their sheen with the dominance of capitalism. Our aim has always been to promote Indian handicrafts and give them a platform to showcase their products. On the other hand, Banka Silk also aims at restoring the lost glory of weavers of Banka district who have steadily witnessed decline in demand in the age of machine spun creations.
