Asian ethylene slips last week from insipid sentiments

Ethylene prices slipped in Asia in the last week ended July 3 from insipid market sentiments.

In Korea, average prices dipped by US$ 35/ton or 2.51 per cent and were assessed at US$ 1360/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices dropped by US$ 45/ton and were quoted at US$ 1350/ton in the last week, down 3.23 per cent as against its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices plunged by US$ 80/ton and were offered at US$ 1325/ton in the last week, a decrease of 5.69 per cent from its previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices declined by US$ 55/ton or 3.93 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 1345/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices decreased massively by US$ 80/ton and were assessed at US$ 1325/ton in the last week, down 5.69 per cent as compared to its previous week.
