Asian PTA dips on Aug 20 on back of lower upstream prices

On the back of lower upstream product prices and other polyester feedstock prices, PTA prices dipped in Asia on Thursday (Aug 20).
In F E Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 580/ton, lower by US$ 5/ton or 0.85 per cent as compared to prices on Wednesday (Aug 19).
In S E Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 600/ton, down by US$ 5/ton or 0.83 per cent as against prices on Aug 19.
In India, prices were offered at US$ 605/ton, also lower by US$ 5/ton or 0.82 per cent vis-à-vis prices on Wednesday.
In F E Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 580/ton, lower by US$ 5/ton or 0.85 per cent as compared to prices on Wednesday (Aug 19).
In S E Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 600/ton, down by US$ 5/ton or 0.83 per cent as against prices on Aug 19.
