Stratasys North America adds Allegheny Machine as reseller

Stratasys North America, a subsidiary of Stratasys Ltd., a global supplier of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions has appointed Allegheny Machine Tool Systems as a reseller.

Allegheny, a full-service distributor supporting world class machine tools will now be a reseller of the full line of Stratasys authorised products for the western Pennsylvania and western Virginia territory.

According to a Stratasys press release, in business since 1992, Allegheny has experience offering customers viable, productive and timely solutions for all their manufacturing needs.

“Partnering with first-class providers of machine tools to manufacturers, like Allegheny, is a key element of our strategy to expand the presence of Stratasy,” said Eric Bert, sr. vice president of sales for Stratasys North America.

“We are extremely proud that we are able to partner with a company that has such an outstanding reputation for being on the cutting edge of technology,” said Dan Ambrogi, president of Allegheny Machine Tool Systems.

“With the emerging market of additive manufacturing and 3D printing; the partnership with Stratasys allows us to offer additional manufacturing solutions to support the needs of our customers,” Ambrogi added.
Stratasys Ltd headquartered both in USA and Israel, is a global provider of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions.

The company's patented FDM and PolyJet 3D Printing technologies produce prototypes and manufactured goods directly from 3D CAD files or other 3D content.

Systems include 3D printers for idea development, prototyping and direct digital manufacturing.

Stratasys subsidiaries include MakerBot and Solidscape, and the company operates the digital parts manufacturing service, Stratasys Direct Manufacturing.
