Egypt's lower labour & energy cost lure production units

With the growing competitive pressure from Asian giants like China and India, many Turkish companies moved their production units to Egypt which offers lower labor and energy costs.
Statistics show that by now nearly 57 enterprises have moved to Egypt.
As per an agreement almost 100 Turkish firms from textile, machinery and chemistry will set up units in the Government allocated 2 million square meter industrial zone.
