IILF to be ideal platform for entire leather industry

The Indian leather sector is emerging as a booming industry, making a mark as the second largest manufacturer of leather garments and footwear in the world.
This has accelerated the growth of business in the home country as well as attracting prospective international clients from across the world to trade from India.
With an objective to further promote the same, India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) regularly presents India International Leather Fair (IILF) on an yearly basis, having organized 22 successful editions so far.
IILF is a platform for global manufacturers and exporters concerning the leather industry to meet, interact and showcase their products/services.
IILF 2008, tabulated to be held from 31st January to 3rd February 2008 will have on display the widest range of leather goods and accessories.
The 23rd edition of the fair will be staged at the Chennai Trade Center, one of the premier trade hubs in the capital city of Tamil Nadu.
The products on display will range from finished leather, shoes, garments, fashion accessories, travel-ware, portfolios, belts, gloves, saddlery and harness to ancillary and auxiliary, chemicals, machinery, etc.
IILF 2008 will be an ideal platform to source, develop business relations and exchange views encompassing the entire global leather industry.
Every preceding fair witnessed immense response and wide participation generating good business. The 22nd edition of India International Leather Fair held in 2007 had 394 exhibitors which included 138 overseas participants from 21 countries abroad.
