Baku, the capital and the largest port of Azerbaijan, is now coming up with a spinning mill and International Trade Centre. The inaugural function for the same was attended by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, here yesterday.
The factory set up with a huge investment of nearly AZN14 million, is furnished with the state-of-art production equipments and has an output capacity of approximately 7,000 tons of cotton per year. The facility is expected to generate employment opportunities for local residents.
The International Trade Centre in Heydar Aliyey Avenue, required AZN11.5 million for its construction, has a business centre covering nine storeys.
