According to the latest data released by National Bureau of Statistics, in December last year, China's total rayon fabric exports reached nearly 67.71 million meters. The figures showed a negative growth of around 14.57 percent from the same time last year, but a slight increase of 1.51 percent from November.
Export value scored about US $66.5745 million, gaining by 9.31 percent from the same time last year, and just 0.33 percent more compared to the previous month.
Average export price of various rayon fabrics in the month of December stood at $0.98 per meter, demonstrating a sharp growth of almost 28 percent from the same time last year, however, fell 1.17 percent from November.
In the period from January to December, country's annual exports of all types of rayon fabrics touched around 781.73 million meters, rendering a slip of 18.54 percent year-on-year.
During the whole year, the country shipped rayon cloth worth $674.99 million, depicting a year-on-year decrease of 5 percent. However, a substantial growth can be observed in the import price, with average price quoted at $0.87 per meter, rising by 17.31 percent year-on-year.
