This Monday, on March 10, PTA price pulled back, MEG price slipped down further. Prices of semi-dull and bright polyester chips, CDP chips and PET bottle slices showed temporary correction.

Prices of acrylic Staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102mm were stable, rates of CPL, nylon 6 slices moved sideways.

PSF prices took a back seat. Trade volume in polyester filament market slightly rose compared with Sunday, mainly due to strong warp demand from downstream sector. Polyester filament offers remained stable, and overall sales of conventional items were as usual. Individual entrepreneurs gave small price concession in actual transactions and according to them polyester filament market was not overly pessimistic. General market is expected to hold its moderate correction in short time.

In yarn market, cotton yarn sales were moderate, of which J21s, 32s increased sales volume, and price trend was mostly stable. Market trend of polyester and viscose yarn displayed smoothly. Except pure polyester yarn 45s was salable, all of other items had less demand. Monday VSF price stepped down, rayon yarn price declined again, 20s, and 50s dropped nearly 100 yuan per ton. Outlook of rayon yarn market is expected to slip down further.
