On Wednesday, March 12, price of crude oil was in a high level consolidation, Asian offers outside China were stable; sentiment in the domestic pure benzene market was quiet, making negotiations and trade volume plain.

In the Asian Market, this Tuesday, pure benzene prices closed up US $4 per ton, at $1080.75-1081.75 per ton, FOB South Korea.

In the domestic ground, market prices of pure benzene remained stable at 8900-9000 yuan per ton in East China. Prices in the South China region, the item can be procured at 8950-9000 yuan per ton, for 8900-9000 yuan per ton in Northern China.

Earlier this week, factory prices of pure benzene from major domestic manufacturers remained stable. Of which, the uniform implementation price for refineries of Sinopec Beijing Branch, Shanghai Branch and Guangzhou Branch was at 9,000 yuan per ton.

Describing the factor that influence the market trends, crude oil price is high, Asian trade volume outside China is plain, domestic market transactions are limited, therefore industry people expect the market to maintain a steady trend in the coming days.

Outlook analysis, downstream demand of pure benzene in domestic is turning warmer, some refineries will enter maintenance period, pure benzene supply in some areas is tight, the market will be supported by multi-positive factors. Domestic price is expected to rise further recently.
