OMNOVA to raise prices for carpet chemicals

OMNOVA Solutions today announced a price increase of $0.05 per dry pound on styrene butadiene latex for carpet and related markets, effective April 28, 2008.
This increase is necessitated by the continued dramatic increase in raw material costs.
OMNOVA Solutions Inc. is a technology-based company with 2007 sales of approximately $746 million and a current workforce of 2,810 employees worldwide.
OMNOVA is an innovator of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals, and decorative and functional surfaces for a variety of commercial, industrial and residential end uses.
