Total market turnover of polyster filament picked up slightly compared to the weekend, but market and production of spinning plants are still finding it difficult to strike the balance.

From dynamic display of downstream market, present status of polyester filament softened amid fluctuation; fabric inventories of downstream weaving plants are at high level; fund pressures are larger, they are cautious towards procurement of textile raw materials. Therefore short-term market movement of polyester filament will mainly follow consolidation trend.

Market sales of all cotton yarn 32s, J40 continued to enlarge; polyester and cotton yarn markets saw a very slight change. Demand of polyester yarn 45s slightly expanded compared to previous week, but trading volumes were lower. Presently, pure polyester yarn price remained stable.
