Knitwear sector thrives on higher yarn consumption

According to BKMEA the country can now supply nearly 90 percent of the total demand for fabric and 75 percent of yarn requirements. Besides, 15 new knitwear factories are being established every month in Bangladesh which undoubtedly indicates toward the exemplary growth of the industry.
Experts are optimistic about more factories commencing production in the coming months, especially since appreciation of Chinese currency against US dollar is placing Bangladesh in a favorable position.
