Americhem expands manufacturing capacity at its global opts

Expansions at three North American plants are keeping the company at the forefront of technology and modern Lean manufacturing techniques. Plants in Mansfield, TX, Concord, NC and Dalton, GA have been expanded with new manufacturing capacity and more physical space.
The Dalton plant has constantly evolved since the company's purchase of Extruded Colors, Inc. in 2002, followed by the acquisition of Color and Additive Technologies in 2005. Since then, the two companies have been integrated into Americhem, resulting in a large manufacturing facility that continues to grow.
The plants in Texas, North Carolina and Georgia have added substantial manufacturing capacity, more process simulation equipment and expanded design and quality testing laboratories. Similar expansion has also occurred at the company's Suzhou, China facility.
The company's commitment to outstanding service and strategic industry focus is evident in the construction of new design centers for Americhem's synthetic fibers and packaging clients. The Packaging Design Centers, located in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Manchester, UK give designers plenty of inspiration for packaging product development.
Each has thousands of bottles in every conceivable color and special effect. Clients can request samples through Americhem's "Match While You Wait" service, which offers up to 20 bottle samples per day with the client's desired color, additive package, and effects.
