Textile industry prepares for free inspection products application

Free inspection products application for 2008 has commenced in China and will end by July this year.
Astoundingly, this year, there are a total of 80 categories that will be listed as the national free-inspection products. Of these, 54 classes will encompass products like traveling shoes, clothes, silk goods, cashmere garments and others.
The remaining 26 will include among others shoes oil, viscose fibre, textile machinery and chemical raw materials.
Moreover, there are some other compulsory requirements that the products need to fulfill in order to get certified like having features of environmental protection and low energy consumption.
Besides there are procedures that the products need to qualify such as the electronic supervision, and on-the-spot investigation.
Infact, the Government will also make routine inspection on popular brands more stringent so that if any problem concerning quality arises, the tag of 'famous brand' will be immediately withheld.
