Marantette from E.T. Horn wins Vanguard Award

In addition to his work with the CEF Board of Trustees, Marantette has also distributed CEF's YBTC kits, an educational tool featuring 30 chemistry lesson plans and corresponding activities, to educators in the La Mirada, CA area. The E.T. Horn Company has also printed their logo on CEF's Chemicals In Your Home Solutions Bulletin for distribution to their customers and community members.
“Mr. Marantette's leadership, enthusiasm, and genuine interest in chemistry education have proven to be the foundation for the growth and success that CEF has seen in recent years,” stated John Rice, Executive Director of CEF. “It is only fitting that we honor his outstanding efforts and dedication by presenting Mr. Marantette with the Vanguard Award.”
As part of their slogan, the E.T. Horn Company continues to demonstrate its commitment to their people: customers, principal partners, employees, and the industry in general. “Many years ago we envisioned a well-oiled machine that would allow senior management to not only direct the company, but also be able to give back to our communities,” said Gene Alley, E.T. Horn CEO.
“It's a tribute to Pat that he's taken charge and spearheaded true growth within the CEF. Our tagline says 'people-product-solutions,' and obviously our president has made it a priority to demonstrate the 'people' part of the mantra.”
