Theme of Cotton's Revolutions - Sourcing to sustainability

To establish the framework for the conference, Mr. Erik Peterson, CEO, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Washington, DC will deliver the keynote address “Exploring the Impact of the Seven Revolutions on the Cotton Supply Chain”. Mr. Peterson is leading a strategic thinking initiative for the global cotton and textile industry.
Business forums with prominent industry speakers will include:
• Global retail developments and how they relate to the Seven Revolutions;
• Regional sourcing advantages offered in South Asia, Southeast Asia and Europe;
• Cotton's future in the face of escalating commodity prices;
• Creating consumer demand with added value;
• Sustainable cotton from field, to fabric, to consumer; and
• Understanding the increasing complexity of compliance certifications.
The Cotton's Revolutions Conference will also provide a forum to establish new sourcing connections between brand and retail buyers and cotton product suppliers.
